Saundra Denise Wilson departed her earthly life on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was born on August 25, 1963. Saundra graduated from Menchville High School in 1982 and joined the Job Corps after graduation where she obtained her CNA. Saundra enjoyed being a CNA and worked in the field for many years. She found fulfillment in providing care for others. Saundra married the love of her life, Arthur Lynn "Peanut" Wilson in 1994. The two had one son, Delvon who is left to cherish the memories of both his parents. Saundra was committed to the truth and teachings of JEHOVAH. She was baptized as one of jehovah's witnesses' in 2011.

Saundra was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Wilson; her parents, Harry Davis and Maggie Nora Jones Davis; brothers, Elmo Jones, Harris Davis Jr, and sister, Vernail Hill.

Left to cherish Saundra's memories are: her son, Delvon Lynn Wilson; siblings, Bettie Powell (Enfield, NC), Joshua Jones (Pearl – Enfield, NC), Geraldine Dozier (Hyattsville, MD), Lucinda Kelly (Newport News, VA), Brenda Jones (Lyleton – Newport News, VA), Julia Jones (Newport News, VA) and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 5-6:30PM. A memorial service will be held virtually on Zoom, Friday, May 28 at 6PM. Electronic invitations are forthcoming.
