SaraJean Meacham, 66, died Friday, February 29, 2024. A native of Alabama, Sara was a military brat, moving to Texas and Hawaii before moving to Virginia. She had a long career in Civil Service at Fort Monroe and finished at Fort Eustis.

A longtime avid bowler, Sara was in leagues at Century Lanes and Sparetimes. She loved working on the committees for the Hampton Cup Regatta and Bay Days as well as volunteering for other events and charities.

Her grandkids were her world and she spent as much time as she could with them.

SaraJean is survived by her son, Logan Lindeman; grandsons, Robbie, Brodie and Connor; granddaughter, Sophia; cousin Debbie and longtime companion, Joe Corbett.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton.
