Sarah M. Tolley, 72, died on her birthday July 31, 2016. She was born in Newport News, and had been a lifetime resident of the peninsula. Sarah worked for 20 years at Riverside Hospital as a Materials Handler. She loved bird watching, and was a fan of Westerns.
Survivors include her sisters, Shannon Stine and Patricia Young; brothers, James Bradley, J.B. Tolley, and Fred Tolley, as well as her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Her dog, Love Bug, was her greatest joy and will miss her dearly.
A memorial service officiated by Pastor Richard Barnes, will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2PM at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
