Sara Ann Franceschi Ray, 80, a lifelong Hampton resident passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021, after a short illness.  Sara was a 1958 graduate of Hampton High School where she made many life long friends.

She retired from the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Hampton after more than 25 years of service. An avid Bingo player, Sara loved to gamble, and usually won.

Sara loved spending time with her family and talking on the phone with her special friends.  She is survived by her children, daughter, Theresa "Terrie" Kyle and husband Kenny; son, David W. Ray and wife Sharon; the light of her life was her two grandsons, Kenneth M. "Kippy" Kyle, II and wife Lindsey; and Patrick Kyle.  She also leaves her newest joy, her great grandson, Kenneth M. "Trip" Kyle, III.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 22 ^nd from 10-11 AM with a Mass of Christian burial to begin at 11:00, at St. Rose of Lima and the Korean Martyrs Catholic Parrish, 2114 Bay Ave, Hampton, VA, where she was a member for most of her life.  For those who are unable to attend mass in person it will be live streamed at
