Sandra Jones Traynham, 76, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Born in
Danville to Leonard J. and Odell Davis Jones, she was a longtime Hampton
resident where she retired as Human Relations Manager from WVEC after many
years of service. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandsons.
Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Benjamin L. Traynham;
survivors include her daughter, Renee Cranor and husband, Chris; her grandsons, J.
Ross and Caleb; her brother, Leonard Jones and wife, Debbie; two sisters, Marie
Leggette and Patsy Fox; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will celebrate Sandra's life with a reception at her home on Sunday,
December 18, 2022 from 2-4.
Memorials for Sandra may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of her
mother.
