Sandra Nichols, 73, born in Ashland, MO, died Saturday, February 24, 2018 after being diagnosed with cancer. Sandy was a member of Pine Chapel Baptist Church for 44 years and a school bus driver for Hampton City Schools for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Don; daughter, Brenda Smith; sons, Billy (Kelly) and Ronnie; her sister, Gloria Sapp (Danny); niece Bonnie Atkins (Blake); grandchildren, Cassie(Leo), Patrick, Jake, Sarah Abraham(Marcus); great-grandchildren, Lexi and Oliver. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Beril W. Smith Jr; and brother, David Biggs.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home 245 S. Armistead Ave. by the Rev. David Parker with interment to follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday prior to the service from 1-2 pm.
