IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Samuel Pinello,
Jr.
March 24, 1940 – August 7, 2021
Samuel Pinello Jr., loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, Vietnam veteran, businessman, author, and painter. All together "Una Buona Vita".. a "Good Life". On the morning of August 7th, 2021, surrounded by his loving daughters, Samuel Pinello made his way to the kingdom of heaven, finally joining the love of his life and wife Maxine (his MacaCina).
His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Sam maintained his proclaimed title of "Funniest Man on The Planet", and although strained, he stayed comical and strong until the end. Our Sam seemingly touched the inner fabric of everyone he ever came in contact with, changing people's lives for the better having met him.
By a Godly twist of fate, in 1960 while serving in the Air Force, Sam met the love of his life Maxine. Their love would endure the stress of separation, and Vietnam to finally be joined together forever on the 30th of May 1963, fulfilling his life's motto of "God, Family and country…and being blessed by all three". Together they built a strong enduring family, and successful family businesses from a Pittsburgh Beer distributorship to Hampton's "Fire Control Systems Ltd" and "The Ritz Internationale". However undoubtedly the biggest pride and joys in his life were centered around the births and raising of his three amazing daughters, Sue, Terri, and Rhonda, his "SUTERON".
The simplest pleasures in life brought Sam great joy. His devotion to family and his Sicilian heritage always showed in every (Not so quiet) evening with "famiglia" and friends with great food and a glass of wine in hand, children running and playing, and Luciano Pavarotti singing as the indelible backdrop. Sam used his love of togetherness to pull every ounce of happiness out of each day possible, making his home that center of family and faith he always desired. His personality was almost larger than life; contagious humor, silly, and sometimes head-shakingly stubborn, but every aspect of Sam was always…ALWAYS, focused around his loved ones.
Sam joins his father and mother Sam and Nancy Pinello, his wife Maxine, brother Chuck and wife Carol Pinello, and grandson Zachary Warman.
Sam is survived by his brother Frank and wife Rita Pinello, Cathy Danylo, #5 Edna Eichelsbeacher, daughters Suzanne Pinello, Terri Schacht, Rhonda Pinello, his grandchildren Nikolais Warman, Nicholas Schacht, Jillian Stillwell, Ryan Smith, and great granddaughter Skye Stillwell.
