Samuel (Danny) Craig, 96, went to be with the Lord and his wife of over 50 years, Mildred Craig, on May 4, 2023. He was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on December 4, 1926. At the age of seventeen Danny joined the Navy serving in World War II. After, he then moved to Hampton, Virginia where he cared for his nine siblings, many nieces and nephews, and his wife. He leaves behind three sons Donny, Ronnie, and Kenny Craig, eight grandkids, seventeen great grandkids, and one great great grandbaby. Many may have known him from Danny's Grill in Phoebus and Surfside in Buckroe. He was loved by so many and cared for by his son Ronnie and daughter in law Carolyn for many years.

A graveside service will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton, Virginia on Tuesday May 30th at 11 a.m. Following the service, family and friends will gather at Providence Free Will Baptist Church on Little Back River Road Hampton, Virginia.
