Samantha Marie Julian, 19, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 while traveling to West Virginia. A lifelong resident of the Peninsula, she was a 2014 graduate of Warhill High School. She worked at Cook-Out Restaurant chain as a staff trainer. Sam was a very outgoing person. Not only did she share a love of music by playing with the Hampton Road Honors Orchestra and the Williamsburg Youth Orchestra, but she also enjoyed athletics. During her junior year, she played for the Warhill Football Team and was known by all as a player who could hold her own. She also ran track and was a member of the school Color Guard. Sam was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Stay and Uncle Robert Stay. She is survived by her mother, Susan Marie Julian; brothers, Thomas Amoroso and Anthony Amoroso; maternal grandmother, Virginia Stay; and Aunt and Uncles, Charles Stay III, Brian Stay and his wife Karen and Diane Spilde and her husband Rich. Samantha's life will be remembered and celebrated again at a memorial service, 11:00 am Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Williamsburg Church of Christ, 227 Merrimac Trail in WIlliamsburg.
