Sally S. Johnson, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, September 18, 2022. She was born on September 27, 1937 and was a lifelong resident of Fox Hill. She worked for Old Point National Bank for 31 years and retired September 30, 1999. Sally was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with her friends, a good game of golf and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Sally was preceded in death by her father, Falentine Sulzberger; mother, Lillian Sulzberger; husband, Neal R. Johnson; son, Neal Jr.; sister, Elizabeth; and brother, William. She is survived by her children, Keith R. Johnson (Lori), John K. Johnson (Teresa); grandchildren, Kelly Campbell (Kevin), Stephanie Johnson, Gary Johnson, Kyle Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kevin Campbell, Landon Campbell, Grayson Frazier and Clyde Johnson.

Sally was a bright light in this world, everyone who met her felt the warmth of her heart and the generosity of her spirit; she will truly be missed by her family and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Clark Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at 25 Buffalo Drive, Hampton.
