Obituary
Ryan Patrick Nealon, 42, of Hampton, passed away unexpectedly on October 28, 2018. Born on September 10, 1976, he was a 1994 graduate of Kecoughtan High School in Hampton and a 1998 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts in Painting and Printmaking.
Survivors include his beloved daughter, Olivia Nealon of Chesterfield County; parents, Kevin and Michele "Shelly" Nealon; brother, Paul Nealon (Stacey); sister, Melissa Nealon-Newton (Andy); and his loving partner, Jane Bennett Merryman, all of Hampton; uncles, John Chester (Annette) of Virginia Beach and Patrick Nealon (Ule) of Onancock; and his aunt, Mary Claire "Mer" Nealon of Williamsburg.
The family will have a private celebration of life for Ryan at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of a donation to The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) at https://www.niaaa.nih.gov/our-work/donations-niaaa or your favorite charity.
Arrangements are by R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
