Ruth Carpenter Zieber, 64, died Sunday, September 29, 2013. Born in Hatboro, PA, she had been a Hampton resident since 1985 and was a member of Langley Baptist Church. Mrs. Zieber loved cats, especially the black ones, sewed and cross-stitched and was known to send cards for all occasions to everyone she knew.

Mrs. Zieber is survived by her husband, Allen G. Zieber III. They were married October 20, 1972. She is also survived by her son, Robert Zieber and wife Gina; sister, Laura Powell; and grandsons, Joshua Zieber and Gary Zieber.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Langley Baptist Church with interment to follow. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10-11 AM.

The family requests that memorials be sent to the Animal Aid Society.
