Rosanna Sue "Susie" Hollingsworth, 83, died Saturday, November 16, 2013. Born in Poquoson, she was a 1946 graduate of Poquoson High School. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, the Hampton Women's Club, the Hampton Yacht Club, and the local Garden Club. She had a very generous and nurturing spirit and a strong faith in the Lord.

Survivors include her husband, John B. "Jack" Hollingsworth; her daughter, Rosemary H. Burroughs; her son, Mark G. Hollingsworth; nine grandchildren, Raquel Rodriguez, John Hollingsworth, Forrest Hollingsworth, Richard Rodriguez, Audrey Hollingsworth, Jordan Edgar, Cassie Burroughs, Rose Burroughs, and Olivia Hollingsworth; and two great-grandchildren, Connor Gendron and Remy Fauls.

The family extends a special thanks to the members and staff of the Hampton Yacht Club for their support over recent years.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 22, 2013 in the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
