Rosa Lee Ruth, 86, of Hampton, Virginia, passed away on January 7, 2024. She was born on June 18, 1937, in Albany, Indiana, to the late Robert and Dorothy Hines. Rosa was the beloved wife of John Ruth and together they shared a lifetime of love and memories.

Rosa was a dedicated employee of the City of Hampton, where she worked for over 30 years before retiring. Her commitment and hard work made a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community she served.

Rosa will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, John Ruth, and their children, Jimmy Woodring, John Ruth Jr, Susan D'Ambrosio, Allison Stehley, and Stephanie Woodring. She is also survived by her sisters, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy throughout her life.

Rosa's life will be celebrated with a funeral mass held at St. Joseph Church in Hampton on January 15, 2024 at 10AM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Parklawn Memorial Park.

Rosa Lee Ruth will be remembered for her dedication, kindness, and love for her family. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
