Ronnie Lee Trice, 76, passed away March 23, 2019 at the Hampton VA Med Center. Born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, he had been a resident of Norfolk since 1977.  He retired from the US Navy in 1981 after 21 years and served in the Vietnam War from 1966-68.  He then retired from Brink's as an armored car driver and messenger. He was a die-hard fan of the Washington Redskins and Arkansas Razorbacks. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. Ronnie dedicated numerous community service hours in the Norfolk Prime Plus Senior Center and the National Alliance for Mental Illness.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara L. Trice; children, Bobby, John, Ronnie, Diane, Maria and Marilyn; sisters, Marilyn and Mary Frances; twelve grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Culpepper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler St., Culpepper, VA. The family wishes in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to National Alliance of Mental Illness at www.nami.org .
