Ronnie D. McKay passed away November 18, 2019. A native of Portland, Indiana, he had recently lived in Newport News. Ronnie served three tours in the United States Army in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife Sheila B. McKay; two children; six step children; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; his sister, Connie Dyson; three step sisters; one step brother; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ronnie will be laid to rest with military honors at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests cards of condolence be sent or donations to the American Cancer Society or your favorite Veteran's charity.
