Obituary
Ronnie Thomas DesChamps , Laid to eternal rest, passed peacefully in his sleep on September 12th 2018.
Born On The Eastern Shore , Ronnie later moved to Hampton, Virginia after serving his country while in the US Navy. Ronnie went on to graduate from Christopher Newport University with a degree in business administration.
After his time spent with the US Navy, Ronnie went on to work at Newport News Shipbuilding helping bolster our nations fleet. After having a successful career as a scheduling planner , Ronnie would later retire after 36 dedicated years.
An avid sports enthusiast Ronnie always managed to squeeze baseball into his life. In his spare time Ronnie lent his time announcing at the American Arm Sport Association.
Ronnie will be remembered for his wit and generosity and his tell it like it is personality. To those who knew Ronnie, his wisdom and advice will never be forgotten and his words always heeded.
Ronnie is survived by his Son Nicholas Balint, Sister Marlene Cumpler and Brother Bruce DesChamps, while leaving behind a close knit circle of friends.
A celebration of Ronnie's life will take place from 4:30pm-6:00pm Monday September 24th at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions-2609 Cunningham Drive, Hampton, Virginia.
