Roger Neuharth, longtime resident of Hampton, passed away March 10, 2017. He was born August 20, 1936 in Eureka, SD. Roger served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958, afterwards he married Margaret Lee and had one son Roger Jr. In 1966 Roger became employed by Bennette Paint Co. and was later appointed President and CEO. In 1986 he received the "top boss" award from the Peninsula members of Professional Secretaries International. He was a longtime member and past president of the Exchange Club of Wythe.

Roger was preceded in death by his sister, Francis; former wife, Margaret; and longtime friend, Delores Creger.

Survivors include his son, Roger Jr.; granddaughter, Brittany; brother, Arnold; and niece, Tennille.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 3:30PM.
