Obituary

Rodolphe "Beau" Beaudry, 85, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016. A native of Lowell, MA, he was a longtime resident of the Tidewater area and New Bern, NC, and had lived at The Chamberlin on Fort Monroe for the last several months.

He retired from the US Navy in 1976 after 28 years of service during which time he was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.

Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Anna Beaudry; survivors include his children, Bill Beaudry and his wife, Dru, Theresa Lee and her husband, Robert, and Tom Beaudry and his wife, Karrie; He also leaves behind two sisters, Pauline and Alice; and a brother, Bob.

He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Melissa, Laura, Rebecca, Steffanie, Brian, Kate, Scott, Stephen, and Zachary; and six great-grandchildren.

He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, and brother. He loved bowling, crossword puzzles, and above all, his family. He was a devoted Naval officer, and loved watching the carriers go by his window.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 26th at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Hampton, VA. Inurnment will be with his beloved wife at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church or the charity of your choice.
