Rochelle "Shelley" Glassman Gill passed away September 4, 2017 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Scranton, PA in 1943 to Elsie and Kenneth Glassman.  She grew up in Binghamton, NY., and has been a local resident for over 25 years.

Shelley was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Glassman.  She is survived by her husband Linwood; son, Scott Colton and his wife Toni sister Cheryl Spatt and her husband Alan, brother; Craig Glassman and his wife Sue and granddaughter, Kennedy Colton.

Shelley enjoyed many things in life: needlework, golf, boating, but most of all, her many family get-togethers.

She worked most of her career years as a professional saleslady, traveling throughout eastern Virginia, selling to building and supply houses in the home building industry.

A celebration of Shelley's life will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton, by Rev. David T. Hampton.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Bayside of Poquoson, all of her many doctors and the staff at Riverside Hospital for all of their care and assistance.  The family wishes expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, 11835 Canon Blvd., Ste.
