Robin Rowe Hall, 62, entered into eternal rest on February 11, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of Hampton, Virginia. She graduated from Bethel High School and attended Thomas Nelson Community College. Robin was a member of First Presbyterian Church and dedicated many years to teaching the 2nd grade Sunday School class.
Robin was preceded in rest by her beloved Mother, Dorothy J. White; Father, Charles B. Rowe; Stepfather, Thurman J. White and Brother, Ronald W. Rowe.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Michelle Hall; step-daughter, Amy Salotti; grandsons, Owen Salotti and Greyson Salotti and niece Veronica Hopkinson (Jay and family). Her beloved extended family included Charles R. Hall Sr. and Barbara Jean Hall, Terry Kuni (Austin), Daniel Woodard, Aaron Woodard (Pam and family), Leona Rowe and Charles R. Hall Jr. (Janice). A lifetime of shared memories will be cherished by her lifelong "Golden Friend" friend Pamela Taylor, her husband Marvin Taylor and their family.
One of Robin's greatest joys in life, after her family and friends, was her career at J.C. Penney in Hampton,VA. She dedicated over 40 years of her life to the company and reaped the great reward of a second family of friends who stood by her side each day sharing in both the joys and challenges of what life brought them. Her bright smile, keen wit, strength, kind heart and giving nature will be missed by all those she touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 7:00pm at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton VA. The family will receive visitors from 6pm-7pm. Interment will be at Parklawn Memorial Cemetery, Hampton, VA on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Peninsula Food Bank, 2401 Aluminum Avenue, Hampton, VA 23661.
