Obituary
Robert (Bob) Neal Simpson, 71, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018. He was born in Danville Virginia and he has been a resident of Hampton Virginia since 1986. He was self-employed as a drywall contractor. He also loved to fish and play golf.
Bob is survived by his fiancée, Jeanie Childress; his daughter, Janet Phillips; his brother, Pete Simpson; a granddaughter, Ashley Jewett; many cousins that he was very close to; and lots of friends that were like family.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held on January 12, 2019 at 2 PM at Harbor Point Community Church at 351 East Mercury Blvd. in Hampton. A small private ceremony will take place on January 26 in Danville Virginia to carry out his final wish.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
