Robert A. Schultz, 92, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Born in Chicago, he had been a Peninsula resident since 1988. He was an Air Force pilot, flew during Vietnam, and he rose to the rank of Lt. Col. and retired in 1980 with 29 years of service. He was a member of the Order of Daedalians. In more recent years, he worked for the City of Hampton at the Convention Center.

Preceded in death by his wife, Marion C. Schultz; survivors include his daughter, Carol M. Buhr; his son, Neal A. Schultz; two grandchildren, Greil Roberts (Jennifer) and Sigourney Hamilton (Andrew); and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
