Robert "Bo" Brown, Jr. 60, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025.  He was born on October 3, 1964, to parents Robert and Winnie Brown.  Bo made his career as a painter; loved his life on Buckroe Beach; and spent countless hours riding his bike around.  He was known as "Buckroe Bo" where he enjoyed his cigarettes, dear friends and a cold beer.

Preceded in death by his father, Robert S. Brown, Sr and brother, Sam Brown; he leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Winnie Sue Carpenter and her husband, Sandford; daughter, Meranda Cruz; granddaughter, Hartleigh Cruz; step-mother, Linda Brown; step-siblings, Billy and Tracy Creech and Lisa Marie; as well as a large extended family and dear friends.

The family would like to thank Bo's caregivers, Toni and George and Richard and Brenda for their dedicated care.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 6:30 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, downtown Hampton.
