Robert Reece Perry passed away on October 11, 2017 at Johns Hopkins Hospital due to complications from surgery. He was a native of Johnson City, TN and had resided in Hampton for many years.

Bob was a former Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce in the cities of Hampton, Williamsburg, and Key West, FL. Upon retiring, his family returned to Hampton where he was employed by Top Guard Security and as an instructor for the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 41 years, Sharon Schofield Perry; three sons, Brandon, Marty (Tina), and Robbie; two grandsons, Mitchell and Camden; and his mother-in-law, Peggy Schofield. Bob is also survived by his sister-in-law, June Barbrey (Robert), his brother-in-law, Bob Schofield; his nephew, Ryan Barbrey (Goy); and his close friend and companion, Shaun Moore.

All services will be private.
