IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert David
Nudelman
January 6, 1948 – May 31, 2017
Robert "Bob" D avid Nudelman, age 69, was greeted by his Heavenly Father on Wednesday morning, May 31, 2017. Born to Arnold and Helen Nudelman in Chicago, IL. Bob, a self-proclaimed Florida boy, was raised and spent a majority of his life in Florida. In September 2016 Bob and his wife Tracy moved to Portsmouth, VA.
Bob was an avid fisherman and loved to cook for others, but his greatest passion was his love for Christ, and His truth.
After serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War, he later went on to establish RBR Books (named after his three daughters: Ruth, Bethany, and Rebecca). A true lover of books and learning, he had a personal library of 15,000 volumes consisting of religious and scholarly books. Bob attended Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church in Chesapeake, VA and was a member of the Society of Biblical Literature.
Bob is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tracy Waters Nudelman; their three daughters, Ruth Agape Hamlin, Bethany Grace Awesome, and Rebecca Joy Nudelman; sister, Gail Wright; grandchildren, Lynnea R. Awesome and Mazzy S. Hamlin; four dogs and four granddogs.
A memorial service to celebrate Bob's earthly life and a race won in his pilgrimage to his final home will be held on Sunday, June 4th at 5 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church, 2041 Mt. Pleasant Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to one of the two charities that held great meaning to Bob, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org and Pacific Garden Missions www.pgm.org .

IS IT FAIR?
GOD!
My God!
Is it fair?
All my life rejection,
Is it fair?
Loneliness,
Is it fair?
Despair,
Is it fair?
Depression,
Is it fair?
Injustice and wrong,
Is it fair?
Ignominious life,
Is it fair?
Then He showed me the cross
and His Son and asked me,
WAS IT FAIR?
