Robert Lyn Newkirk, 60, died Saturday, January 30, 2016. Born in Richmond, Robert attended Kecoughtan High School and had served 6 years in the Air Force.
Robert is survived by his fiancée, Terry Davis; sons, Daniel Newkirk and Matthew Newkirk; sister, Nelda Archer; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 8, 2016 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home
The family requests that memorials be sent to a medical foundation to support research into diabetes, liver and kidney disease.
