Robert W. "Bobby" Lloyd, 72, died Sunday, July 11, 2021. A lifelong resident of Hampton, he was a member of Ivy Memorial Baptist Church. Through the years, Bobby had worked for Gateway Computers, and retired from National Coatings and Supplies, but from 1989-1993 he worked at Camidge German Imports where he met his devoted wife. Bobby was a loving husband for 20 years to Ashiya Camidge Lloyd and she will cherish all the memories of the good times they had together. During the first night of their honeymoon, Ashiya woke up and decided they needed to be at home sleeping in their own bed in their own home. In his younger years, Bobby was an avid bowler and bowled in several leagues.

In addition to Ashiya, Bobby leaves behind his brother-in-law, Nelson T. Camidge, Jr. and his beloved dog, Buddy Lee. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert E. Lloyd, Sr., his mother, Marion Elizabeth Lloyd, and his brother, Hubert E. Lloyd, Jr.

Ashiya would like to express her thanks to Mike and Steven, the physical therapists who came to the house to help Bobby, as well as to Rebecca and McGee who were the home healthcare nurses, and a special thanks to Ashley, one of the nurses on the 4 ^th floor at the Careplex who always took the time to make sure that Ashiya knew exactly what was going on with Bobby's care.
