SERVICE SCHEDULE CHANGE

Services will be held THURSDAY January 12, 2017 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Thursday with service beginning at 2 PM.  Interment immediately following at Greenlawn.


Robert Ellis Brock, 79, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Born in Kenansville, NC on December 23, 1937, he had been a Hampton resident since 1966 where he attended First Calvary Baptist Church. He retired from the US Army in 1975 after 20 years of service which included a tour in Vietnam.

Preceded in death by his parents, Luther Lee and Maggie Tucker Brock; survivors include his wife, Nancy Harris Brock; children, Steve Brock, Ray Brock and his wife, Lynn, David Brock, Barbara Bruhn, and Peggy Werth; a sister, Thelma Gable; and five grandchildren, DaKota Brock, Rebekah Brock, Skyler Brock, Seth Bruhn, and Austin Brock.

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Monday, January, 9, 2017 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 2pm. Interment will take place at 10 am Tuesday in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
