Rita Fay Wilcox, 59, was called by the Lord to heaven on Saturday, September 26, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Hampton and worked many years for Newport News Shipbuilding. Rita is survived by her husband of 33 years, Gregory F. Wilcox; son, Christopher "CJ" Wilcox of Hampton; daughter, Rebecca Wilcox Parker of Hampton; sisters and brothers, Kay, Cookie, Guy, Jeanie, Tim, and her very special brother, Jimmy; her most beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Christopher, Nolan and Cally; and her dog, Cletus. Rita was known for her kind heart and always welcoming home. It is there where you would be greeted with open arms and a smile, along with a cup of coffee. Rita made sure that when you came to her house, you were going to be feed, and when you left you would be aching from laughter. Rita was a very sweet and loving woman who cherished her grandchildren. Her world revolved around not only her grandchildren, but also caring for her youngest brother Jimmy, and her endless love for all animals. Especially her Olde English Bulldogge, Cletus. The immediate Family requests that family and friends gather to celebrate Rita's life, 5:00 PM Friday, October 2nd at the home of her son, CJ. Arrangements are by R.
