Rita Doreen Quinn received her invitation to join her Lord and savior in heaven on April 4, 2018. She was born on May 26, 1933 in London, England, where she survived WWII. It was there in England that she met her soulmate Warren V. Quinn and they enjoyed 64 years of marriage together. She came to America with her husband, visited many states and countries, and settled in Hampton, VA where she continued to serve the Lord with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter and Theresa Buckley. Survivors include her loving husband, Warren V. Quinn; brother, Derek Buckley and his wife June; daughters, Susan Ennis and her husband David and Karen; three grandchildren, Shawn Avery and his wife Martinee, Diana Green and her husband Donald, and Stephanie Harris; five great-grandchildren, Brianna, Taylor, Cameron, Cody, and Riley.

She will be missed by many family members and friends (too many to list).

"As you are now, I once was. As I am now, you soon will be. Trust in Jesus and follow me."

The family will receive friends at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 5-6:30PM with a Celebration of Life service to follow immediately afterwards. HaH

In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be sent to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
