Richard L. Meiser, Feb 11, 1941 -Dec 23, 2017 ETCMSS, retired with 30 years of service. Dick died in his home Saturday Decemer 23 surrounded by family after a long battle with COPD. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and active in their home bible study. Dick was an active leader in AA and often a sponsor for individuals seeking sobriety.

Dick is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Patricia Meiser; his daughter Robin Gregg and her husband Mike; his son Richard Jr and his wife Colleen. He was the proud grandfather to 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held January 9th at 12 noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hampton, VA with a luncheon to follow. Interment will take place on January 10th at 11 AM in Albert G. Horton JR. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA.
