Richard "Rich" C. Cooper, 43, died on January 11, 2017. A lifelong resident of Hampton, he had worked for a number of years as a plumber. Rich loved skateboarding, and was an avid camper. He had a love for Sour Patch Kids candy, and always enjoyed a trip to the thrift store. One of his greatest joys was having an adopted elephant in Africa.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Sierra Cooper; son, Gavin Cooper; mother, Susan Aldrich; grandmother, Joyce Worthington; sister, Tiffany Eve; brother, Robert Cooper; and his extended family including David Sulava.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 5-6PM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 2PM at Parklawn Memorial Park.
