Richard Halvey Bailey, 92, (MSG Retired) widower of Mieko Maeda Bailey, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020.  Born in Clayton, MO, he has been a resident of Hampton since 1952.  He retired from the U.S. Army in 1968 after 22 years, which included service during the Korean War.

Richard was also preceded in death by his brothers, Marion, Donald, Robert, and James.  He is survived by his daughter Jean M. Bailey; sons, Richard W. Bailey and Robert G. Bailey; grandchildren, Tia M. Whisner, Joel Bailey, Richard Bailey and Ashleigh Maynard; and great-granddaughter, Makayla Whisner.
