Rhonda Jean Frey, age 51, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio to John and Shelby Schiltz, Rhonda was a resident of Norfolk for over 30 years, a longtime employee of WalMart on Tidewater Drive and was a member of Granby First Church of God. She participated in many fundraisers for CHKD. She also loved to beach comb, knit and spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her partner and caretaker, Duane Frey; sons, Nathaniel Frey and John Frey; mother, Shelby Mullins; sisters, Lisa Demint, Paula Phillips, and April Pingree; and grandchildren, Cody Frey, Hunter Frey, and Sage Frey.

Memorial Service to be held 2:00 PM , March 3rd at the American Legion, 705 Lesner Ave, Norfolk, VA 23518 (757-587-2641 ). A potluck celebration of Rhonda's life will follow the memorial. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters (CHKD).
