Reina Leona Brown Cole, 99, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 10, 2023, with loved ones by her side.  Born in Red Oak Texas to parents Corry and Lethea Ann Brown; she graduated high school and went on to serve in the Women's Army Corp.  Reina married Raymond L. Cole and they traveled the world as a military family from Canada to England, to Delaware and North Carolina before settling in Hampton, Virginia.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and family meant everything to Reina.  Her granddaughter Reina Wilson was named after her and inherited Reina's strong will.

Preceded in death by her parents, Corry and Lethea Brown; husband, Raymond Cole, Sr., an infant daughter; and brother, Corry G. Brown, Jr.; she is survived by daughter, Traci Terry (Bill); sons, Corry Cole (Lorain Cosgrave), Karl Cole (Robin), Brian Cole (Mary Lou), and Ray Cole, Jr. (Laura); her grandchildren, Corry Cole, Jr. (Lori), Kristy McElroy (John), Michael Cole, Shaun Cole (Brittany), Steven Mann, Reina Wilson, and Joshua Horan (Kelsey); and many great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton.  A Celebration of Life will be held after the visitation beginning at 1 PM at the funeral Home with interment at Hampton Memorial Park.  Watch service CLICK HERE
