Rachel L. Drew, 80, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Born in Wilson, NC, she was a longtime Hampton resident where she was a member of Victory Baptist Church and served as the nursery keeper for many years.

Our dear Rachel was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Ivey and Annie Lucille Frye Walston, a daughter, Mary Susan Drew, a grandson, Kevin Scott Holloman, a granddaughter, Sharon Drew and her mother-in-law Jenny Rankin. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Wesley Drew, Sr.; seven children, Wesley Drew, Jr. and wife, Donna, Kathy Drew-Ford and husband, Hank, Kevin Drew, Crystal Donohoe, Rodney Drew, Julie Blough, and Jennifer Drew; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; a sister, Michelle Johnson and husband, Scott; and a brother, Mack Walston and wife, Sue; niece Melissa Reaves; and father-in-law Clifford Rankin.

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Victory Baptist Church with a funeral service conducted at 2:00 PM by Pastor Robert Wilson. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
