Quang Trong Nguyen, 60, of Hampton, Virginia, peacefully passed away on May 16, 2019 surrounded by friends & family after a courageous battle with cancer. Quang worked at the Smithfield Packing plant of Smithfield, Va, where he displayed numerous talents for over 30 years. Quang can be remembered for his love & devotion to his family & friends, along with his trusty four-legged companion, Oreo.

Quang is survived by his two sons, Steve (Kaylin) Nguyen and Ly (Katherine) Trinh; grandchild, Mai-Ly Trinh; mother, Thom Hoang; brothers, Hung (Nora) Nguyen, Minh Nguyen and Viet (Hien) Nguyen; sisters, Thuy (Phu) Nguyen and Diem (Giang) Nguyen; numerous nieces and nephews and beloved pets, Oreo, Subie, Miko & Trinidad-Jane.

Quang was preceded in death by his father, Nguyen Huu Nguyen and sister, Jennifer (Huy) Nguyen.

Visitation & celebration of life service will be held from 19:00 to 20:30, Friday, May 24. Cremation ceremony will be held from 09:00 to 12:00, Saturday, May 25 at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr in Hampton.
