Phyllis L. Brown, 94, died Friday, September 15, 2023. Born in Creston, OH, she had lived in Hampton Roads for the last 75 years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and puzzles, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family in the Outer Banks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brown, her son, Charles Jeffrey Brown, and her brother, Richard Steele. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Sluka and husband, Eddie, Lorrie Winfree, Janet Overstreet, and Paula Augustson; her sister, Patricia Jeter; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, September 29m 2023 at St. Michael and All Angels, Williamsburg, VA.
