Peter Joseph Hazy, 62, passed away at Sentara CarePlex Hospital on November 12, 2022, to be with his beloved wife Lisa Ann Hazy (May 10, 2017). Peter attended Belle Vernon High School where he played on both the wrestling and football teams. He graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Peter worked for years as a Computer Programmer at Hampton University. He was very active in his son's recreational sports, serving as coach of YMCA basketball and soccer. He was known to be full of life and playful and always wanting to wrestle the biggest person in the room. He was also known for his beautiful vegetable garden. Peter loved his wife Lisa dearly . She meant the world to him and we know they are together in heaven. Survivors include his sons Stanley Hazy and Petey Hazy; daughter-in-law, Erika Hazy; grandchildren, Peter & Eiden Hazy; mother-in-law, Louise Oleski Maksa; and sister-in-law, Kathy Paul. The services are going to be held privately.
