Peggy Lynn Henry, 65 passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022.  Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Wooddell.  Peggy received her Master of Education from Liberty University and was a Special Education Teacher for Hampton City Schools.  She retired in 2020 after 25 years of dedicated service to education.  Her love of reading became a favorite past time, and she liked a variety of authors from C. S. Lewis to Louisa Mae Alcott.  Peggy enjoyed cheering people up and would often send cards and little gifts to make everyone feel special.

Predeceased by her parents; Peggy is survived by her husband Tim Henry of 43 years; daughters, Amy Dawn Henry-Mosier (Andrew) and Lindsay Kate Lyles (William); son, Zachary David Henry; sisters, Sheba Dawn Wooddell and Sharon Stacy (Bob); brother, David Wooddell (Dinah); fourteen grandchildren, Alexandra, Audrey, Ava, Ellie,  Evangeline, Felicity, Heidi, Io, Mercy, Odin, Penelope, Prometheus, Riverson, and Veronica; and her beloved dog, Cisco.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, Parkersburg, West Virginia.
