Paul Frank Sanborn, 88, died Thursday, December 1, 2016. Born in Newport NH, Paul came to Hampton in 1965. He had served in the Army then the USAF retiring after 20 years as MSgt and earning the Meritorious Service Medal. He then opened Sanborn Home Improvements which he operated for 30 years. A volunteer driver safety instructor for 15 years with AARP, Paul received the Outstanding Volunteer Award from York County in 2013.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Odette E. Sanborn.  He is survived by his son Fab Sanborn and wife Donna; daughter, Charlene K. Miller and husband Tim; brother, David Sanborn; grandchildren, Michael D. Sanborn and wife Donna, Katie L. Sanborn, Christopher S. Miller and fiancée Rachel Sears, and Jonathan L. Sanborn; and great-grandchild Harper Jane Miller.
The family will have a private memorial service.
