Obituary

Paul Henry Paquin, age 92 years, Lt. Col. (retired) Air Force of 37 years service, died peacefully, early morning on November 21, 2016 at his residence at Harbor's Edge in Norfolk Virginia, after a long struggle with bone cancer.

Born September 1, 1924 in Springfield, Mass. to Harris and Antoinette (Letourneau) Paquin. He, his brother Leo Paquin and his parents later moved to Greenfield, Mass. He helped his father in the local donut shop business, until entering the Army Air Forces during WWII. He was blessed in marriage with the late Helen R (Graves) Paquin, also of Greenfield, and enjoyed a full life with her and their 3 children, Richard, Diane and Nancy. Helen died in 1985. She was the love of his life.

Although a man of many talents and interests, his greatest feeling of pride was in dedicating his life to serving his country from WWII through Vietnam and beyond. He will be honored to be buried with his wife Helen, in the Arlington Cemetery. The date of the burial is yet to be scheduled.

He remained close to his loving brother, Leo who still resides in Greenfield. He also wished to be remembered fondly to his nieces, Cathy and Elaine and cousin, Philip Paquin.

Paul's life and legacy will live on through his 3 devoted children, and 4 proud grandchildren , Michelle & Craig Saltzer, (children of Diane) and Austin & Alyssa Vigil (children of Nancy).
