Hampton-
Patsy C. Powell, 86, passed away Thursday morning, August 24, 2017. Born in Shelby, NC, she has been a resident of Hampton since 1952 where she and her family owned and operated Powell Realty. She was a member of Hampton Baptist Church.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roy I. Powell; sons, Gary I. Powell and his wife Kay. Wayne S. Powell and his wife Carolyn, and Patrick A. Powell and Crystal; brother, Morgan Cabaniss; grandchildren, Corinna, Jeremy and Teresa; and great grandchildren, Derrick, Riley and Callie. Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Patsy's life will be celebrated at 4:00 pm on Monday
August 28th
at Hampton Baptist Church. Service will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Betty Pugh Mills and Dr. Chester Brown. The family wishes in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hampton Baptist Church Building Fund, 40 Kings Way, Hampton, VA 23669.
