Obituary
Patricia Rae "Mimi" Tysinger passed away surrounded by family on December 22, 2016 in Hampton, VA at the age of 84. Preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Tysinger, her father Ernest R. Belanger and her mother Helen O. Belanger. She is survived by her son Robert (Randy) R. Tysinger and wife Donna, her daughter Pamela R. Bahr and three grandchildren, Heather R. Horrell along with her husband Jason, Lindsey A. Bahr and Jaden R. Tysinger. Patricia was born on October 6, 1932 in Hartford, CT later becoming a resident of Hicksville, NY where she graduated from Hicksville High School. The last 24 years she has resided in Poquoson, VA. Patricia was an accomplished registered nurse devoting most of her career to renal dialysis. She retired from Sentara Hampton General after 15 years of service. She enjoyed plays, musicals and was an experienced Bridge and Skip-Bo player. One of her greatest joys was watching her grandson Jaden play baseball. She will most be remembered for her sweet and sassy attitude. A visitation is scheduled for

at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in Hampton, VA at
1:00 pm
with a memorial service to follow at
2:00 pm
at the funeral home. Burial at Parklawn Memorial Park to immediately follow. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Sentara Nursing & Rehab in Hampton, VA for their care and dedication. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions to the National Kidney Foundation in Mimi's name are appreciated.
