Patricia Ann ( Seidnitzer ) Shinabery , 63, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019.  She was a lifelong resident of Hampton, Virginia. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, playing Bingo, taking care of her precious dogs, taking care of her yard, eating Smitty's Better Burgers, eating at any type of buffet, and of course always giving her opinion on everything. Patricia was preceded in heaven by her granddaughter, Brittany DeBusk ; Parents, Frank and Delia Seidnitzer ; Siblings: Charles Seidnitzer , Joan Kelling , Bernard Seidnitzer , Vincent Seidnitzer , Donald Seidnitzer , Theresa Bristow , and Rosemary Slayton . She is survived by her husband Robert C. Shinabery , Jr.; children, Melissa Hancock (Jason), Sherry Bohner (John); Christine Rogers- Rader , Christina Shinabery (Randy), and Terri Homer; siblings, Paul Seidnitzer , Janet Scull, Frank Seidnitzer , John Seidnitzer , Joseph Seidnitzer , James Seidnitzer , Mary Hensley, Angela Slayton , and Thomas Seidnitzer ; grandchildren, Chad, Kiley, David, Madison, Ryan, Ashley, Austin, Bryson , Dustin, Dennis James, Jameson, Emily, Savannah, Drew, Destiny and Tyler; and great-grandchildren, Chase, Isaac, Landon, Jaydon , and Ariella. She is also survived by her loving mother-in-law Mildred "Boots" Shinabery , a plethora of nieces, nephews, and relatives on both sides of the Seidnitzer and Shinabery families. She will also greatly miss her friends at all the different Bingo halls across Hampton Roads.

A special note should be made that she will be joined in heaven by her two beloved dogs, Shadow and Brandy. She leaves behind her three Shelties ; Smokey, Prissey , and Sassie .

The family will receive family and friends from 5:00-6:00 PM Friday, December 20, 2019 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, in downtown Hampton.  Immediately following at 6:00 PM, Patricia's life will be celebrated at the same location.

The family wishes expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or the Hampton Fire Department.
