Patricia A. Quinn, 86, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Born in Fayetteville, NC, she lived in Hampton for most of her life. Pat worked as a teacher's aide at Gloria Dei for more than 35 years. She loved kids and was always happy to see adults that she had taught as kids. She had a keen sense of humor and was a joy to be around. She made friends easily and never met a stranger or missed a chance to make someone smile. Pat was a longtime member of Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac Quinn; her parents, Julie and George H. Andrews and Doots and Bill Hudson; her brother, Allen Gray Hudson; and her beloved dog, Coco. Survivors include her son, Chip Quinn and wife, Cecile; her daughter, Wendy Quinn; her granddaughter, Carly Trevathan; her sister, Gay Andrews; two brothers, George Andrews and wife, Denise and Roger Andrews; her sister-in-law, Alann Hudson; and many beloved cousins. Pat will also be missed by her dear friends, Sandy and Don Tidwell and Sheri, Jimmy, and Ally Rose; and her dear dachshund, Scooby.

The family would like to thank Pat's in-home caregiver, Dana Godwin and Aging in Place Solutions and its owner, Brenda Duelle and caregivers, Tiera Jones, Anika Easley, and especially Tonya Jones, who went above and beyond caring for Pat like she was her own mother.

The family will receive friends from 3-5pm, Sunday, June 8, 2025, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
