Patricia Ann Mitchell, 85, died Friday, May 19, 2023. Born in Pennsylvania, her family moved to the Peninsula when she was a young child and she graduated from Hampton High School. After raising her children, she helped co-found the Gloria Dei Lutheran Preschool where she taught from 1974-1981.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Mitchell, Sr., her son, Kenneth Chandler Mitchell, and a sister, Barbara Foreman; survivors include her children, Robin Eubank (Fred), Robert W. Mitchell, Jr. (Kristy), and Charles Gregory Mitchell (Teresa); her brother, H.C. "Chic" Lamborn (Patti); her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Mitchell; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

All services will be private.
