IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Ann
Hayden
October 18, 1957 – March 22, 2019
Patricia Ann Hayden (Patty to some, Trisha to others), 61, a native of Baltimore, MD & resident of Hampton, passed away on Friday, March 22nd, 2019 while at home under hospice care. She had a great talent for knitting and crocheting, making several family members beautiful hats, blankets, and afghans. Patty also had an eye for interior decoration and floral arrangements and designs, having produced many well received designs and works. She also made, for special occasions, hand-made Italian pasta dishes that drew crowds and earned high praise. Patty also possessed a generous heart, as she made for several Christmases tins full of home-made cookies of all varieties for her brothers. These treats were so well received, they often sparked bartering and bargaining among the brothers.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Weber Jr. and Marian I. Weber, and by her husband Robert B. Hayden. Sh e is survived by 3 sons: William R. Weber, SFC Ricky Hayden & wife Allyssa, Daniel Hayden & wife Chaneice, and a daughter, Elizabeth Hayden; by three brothers: Ronald A. Weber and wife Wyn, William H. Weber III and wife Natalie, and Russell E. Weber and wife Teri; and six grandchildren Benjamin, Caitlynn and Matthew Hayden, Alexander Hayden, and Liam and Lily Hayden.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 26th, 6:00-7:30 PM, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 South Armistead Avenue, in Hampton. A service celebrating Patricia's life will be held on Wednesday, March 27th at 10:00 AM at the funeral home by Pastor Tommy Markham. Interment will be at 11:00 AM at Parklawn Memorial Park (2551 North Armistead Ave) in Hampton, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please contribute in Patricia's name to R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home (757-723-3191) to help offset the funeral expenses as there was no life insurance.
