IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Rodgers
Anderson
July 16, 1940 – October 25, 2025
Patricia Rodgers Anderson, age 85, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 after a long illness. Pat, Hampton born and raised, traveled to many places worldwide with her husband, David, and her 2 children, Elizabeth and John. They always returned to the Hampton area annually for family visits then they retired to live in Carrollton, Virginia for the last 30 years. Family and friends were very important to her.
Pat had a love for antiques and loved the adventure of finding and making a little money for her hobbies and eventually her shop, Mama's Place. Among her many collections she cared for each, enjoying cleaning and displaying them. Pat's eclectic style just seems to fit together. Her knowledge of antiques began with her mother and grew to a vast knowledge.
Pat's love of animals grew into a collection of dogs, cats, and birds over the years. She learned how to breed and show Pomeranians and built her own lineage. She loved dogs and owned many Pomeranian Show Dogs throughout the years. Once her lineage died out, she would rescue small dogs and give them safe homes. Patricia and her husband, David also owned and showed many antique cars prior to his death. They belonged to many car clubs and traveled to the different shows.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, David S. Anderson, Jr. and her son, John D. Anderson. Her survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth M. Markiewicz and her husband, Scott; three grandsons, Benjamin D. Markiewicz, Christopher M. Markiewicz, and Aaron S. Anderson; her sister, Mary R. Green; her niece, Laura G. Mizelle; and her nephew, George M. Anderson.
